The Future of Mobility | InnoTrans 2026

22–25 September 2026 · Berlin | International Trade Fair for Transport Technology

In 2026, we were once again at InnoTrans in Berlin, and the event demonstrated once more just how dynamically the international mobility ecosystem continues to evolve.

This year, our focus was particularly on how mobility systems can be planned, operated and optimized holistically throughout their entire lifecycle. In this context, Operation & Maintenance is becoming increasingly important. The future of mobility is not defined by new technologies or vehicles alone. What matters is the interaction between infrastructure, operations, maintenance, digitalization and economic performance.

This is exactly where our MORE concept comes in. MORE looks at mobility from a lifecycle perspective, connecting technical systems with operations, resources, availability and costs. The objective is to create the right conditions for efficient and sustainable long-term operations from the earliest stages of a project.

InnoTrans once again provided an excellent platform for this exchange. Through numerous discussions with operators, manufacturers, planners and technology partners, we were able to explore current challenges, strengthen existing partnerships and develop new approaches for future projects.

We were also particularly pleased to meet with our partners WGD Consulting and TRACCS, with whom we continue to expand our activities and network in Canada. International collaboration and the exchange of experience between Europe and North America play an important role for us in developing future-ready mobility solutions.

Our takeaway from Berlin is clear: the future of mobility will be increasingly connected, automated and data-driven, while operations, availability, resources and lifecycle costs are becoming equally important. New mobility systems therefore need to do more than deliver technological innovation – they must also enable efficient, reliable and sustainable operations over the long term.

For claystreetX, this means that we do not just want to rethink mobility. Together with our partners, we want to turn it into practice – from the first idea to daily operations.

A big thank you to all our partners, clients and industry colleagues for the many inspiring conversations in Berlin. We look forward to building on these discussions and developing the ideas and opportunities that emerged together.
